| "Smash it!" Florian Zimmer`s challenging public-stunt | 15.09.2007 |
No risk, no fun: Florian Zimmer has chosen the most public spot in his german hometown to locate his most dangerous illusion so far. On September 15th, he'll be walking in Houdini's footsteps with his public stunt debut, right underneath the worlds highest church. Zimmer will be performing a spectacular escape experiment starting with two police officers putting him into a strait jacket and caging him into a casket-like wooden box, with a real monster truck hanging over it. Once the box is sealed up, Zimmer is given just two minutes to escape from his enflamed, burning prison. The stunt operators will have the local firefighters supervising the performance, while a filmcrew is supposed to film the escape. Is Zimmer gonna be able to free himself out of the deadly trap? Now that he's hit the first peak in his young career, Zimmer seems to be willing to choose a risky path with his first public stunt. On September, 6th he'll be promoting the "Smash it" performance on the German late night show "TV Total".

 Once more Florian Zimmer is the first price winner of an international competition (“Les Anneaux Magiques”-The Magic Rings) that took place in Morges near Lausanne (Switzerland). Five acclaimed magicians from every part of the world were selected to present their shows in front of about 800 spectators. After his performance Florian Zimmer gets an invitation from the prince house of Monaco. The German shooting-star will perform his Show in the “Princess Grace Theatre” at Monte-Carlo in October. | |

 Florian Zimmer has conquered the magic-capital Las Vegas off the cuff. During his first business trip to the United States the reigning European champion of magic was awarded with the prestigious "Siegfried & Roy Golden Lion Award" at the World Magic Seminar. The entertainment icons Siegfried & Roy invited their compatriot to the Mecca of Magic. Additionally he was nominated as the only German illusionist for "the Siegfried & Roy Golden Lion Award". Approximately 2000 spectators from all over the world experienced the US-premiere of the magician, which was honoured by the audience with standing ovations in the showroom of the Orleans Casino. "The magic of Florian Zimmer is creative, entertaining and inspiring", enthused Siegfried over his young colleague during the festive bestowal. After the award-ceremony Florian Zimmer was invited to perform his "face to face"-show for Michael Jackson.
